Camp FAQs

Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 9AM to approx 3PM

Campers will be divided into groups by age and will rotate through the different activity stations.

There will be a lunch in between.

There will be a closing campfire before dismissal.

We recommend wearing normal comfortable play clothes for early March. Shorts or jeans and t-shirts and athletic shoes are great if it’s warm.

We will have shade coverings for many activities but will generally be outside so sunscreen is highly recommended as well as bug spray if the camper is sensitive to mosquitos although we hope to not have too many in early March.

We will have a first aid station to handle small things like a cut or scrapes. Anything requiring further medical attention will be escalated to first responders and emergency contact notified immediately.

Absolutely! Please let us know if your camper has any allergies that we need to be aware of.

We’d love for you to and we’d also like you to join us for lunch! We’ll have plenty of coffee, water, and snacks for the adults.

We are holding the camp at Johns Island  County Park and we  are comitted to maintaining the highest standards of safetey.

We will make every effort to keep your child safe but you will be asked to sign a waiver, as you would at any event.

We will be using BB Guns, not firearms. We will also be using bows and field-tipped arrows at our archery range.

Additionally, we will have extra volunteers and a certified range master as well as certified archery instructors to ensure safety as best as we can.

We also will have a strict adherance to the “buddy system” meaning a camper is not allowed to go anywhere without their buddy – this ensures nobody is alone at any time. We will have periodic buddy checks during the event.

We will make accommodations for bonafide registered service animals but cannot accommodate pets unfortunately.

Absolutely! We do ask that you or a guardian attend with the camper as you know their needs best and we may not have the volunteer power to make individual accommodations. Please reach out if you have any questions as we feel the outdoors are truly for all!
